The Andon module is used to monitor plant floor production versus schedule. The module uses user-defined TAKT times (cycle times to perform a production process) or calculates TAKT times based on user-provided input such as production goal versus available production time. The module can illuminate stack-lights to signal a station that is falling behind, display the information on a message display board, or otherwise notify operators and/or managers of potential problems.
